HMVT steps into the international sphere
Petrochemical company Petroplus has commissioned HMVT for a soil decontamination project in the French city of Rouen. This decontamination project will be highly challenging, given the large quantities of contamination to be removed.
Petrochemical company Petroplus has commissioned HMVT for a soil decontamination project in the French city of Rouen. This decontamination project will be highly challenging, given the large quantities of contamination to be removed.
HMVT will start with a pilot project to test the available extraction techniques (vacuum extraction and skimmer pumps). The objective is to extract approximately 1,000 metric tons of contamination in eighteen months. This is a large quantity and a very short period of time. According to estimates, there are still around 8,000 metric tons (!) of contamination.
During the tender, HMVT had to prepare all of the documentation in French. In close cooperation with Wegrosan and Sorange, HMVT put together an attractive tender, which ultimately resulted in a fantastic contract.
