Oranjewoud NV makes a bid for Antea SA shares
Gouda, The Netherlands, September 3, 2009 – Oranjewoud has made a bid for the French multidisciplinary engineering & consulting firm Antea SA. For Antea’s shareholders, this was sufficient reason to start negotiations with Oranjewoud. The company, which employs around 400 people, is one of the market leaders in France and specializes in environment, water, infrastructure, soil remediation, (industrial) safety and waste management.
The acquisition of Antea would reinforce Oranjewoud’s international position in the areas of the environment, safety, water and sustainability, in line with the company strategy. The acquisition would also strengthen Oranjewoud’s position on the French and the global market, in keeping with Oranjewoud group plans to develop further services for international clients.
