Information sheets on new ARIE regulations
New regulations related to the Supplementary Risk Inventorization and Evaluation (ARIE regulations) have been in effect since March of this year. Companies subject to this regulation that have not yet prepared a Work Safety Report (AVR), must conduct an ARIE within two years of the law coming into force.
A deadline of five years from the date of submission of the most recent AVR applies to existing AVR companies. Oranjewoud/Save has prepared two information sheets at the request of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, in co-operation with White Queen Safety Strategies.
Implementation
They include a folder in which the main points of the ARIE regulation are explained and an information sheet that serves as a guideline for completing the mandatory ARIE. The project is implemented accompanied by a sounding board group which includes the client, as well as representatives from industry, transport institutions, Work Inspection and Working Conditions organizations.
As much consideration as possible should be given to the specific type of institution when implementing the ARIE regulation. In this connection transport organizations (such as container storage companies and depots) will receive special attention.
