Water

Since 1998 strategic policies in the field of integral water management have been subject to innovations. Water in the city, space for the rivers, safety and flooding and water quality have become important issues on the agendas of European countries.

As a result the basic principle of water management has changed in a structural way. As well as the vision on how we deal with water, space and the environment. This has consequences for the implementation of projects, not only with regard to contents and technical aspects, but also concerning organization and planning.

Integral solutions

Today's integral water management includes the anticipation of changing situations and visions and the provision of input by all parties involved. The strength of Oranjewoud lies in our specialists and generalists working closely together in projects at the interface of water, space and the environment.

Water is not a tail piece

We do not consider water as a technical tail piece in planning and implementation but as a structuring element in the development of a vision for spatial development.

Interpreter in water management

Our projects show that we can act as an interpreter  between flow rate and draft plan, between contents and process and between the various parties involved in water management. We bridge policy ambitions, plans and projects by creating an constant relationship between contents (can be made), process (feasibility) and financing (can be paid).
